Dear Alumni members,
As I write this newsletter I am astounded by the beauty of nature. It has been a dull, dreary, and cold spring BUT summer is just bursting with color. Everything is young, fresh and fragrant. I hope you all are enjoying the beauty of the lazy days of summer. The board has been busy this year. We have approved a Cats Meow replica of the old Hahnemann Hospital. The replicas will be available at the banquet, and then by mail. We have added the finishing details to the banquet, scholarships and the contents of the newsletter. We will honor the members of the Class of 1955 on the occasion of their 50th Anniversary. Every class celebrating an anniversary should try to get their classmates to join them at the banquet. If you are unable to join us, just raise a glass and toast all of the great nurses of the Worcester Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing!!
Have a safe and healthy year, Linda
Cats Meow Project Above is the photo that the project will resemble. It was taken from an old Hahnemann Herald. The Cats Meow will be colorized, including the trees, bricks, walkways and walls. If you are not familiar with the cats meows series they are small wooden cutouts of a building or landmark that are painted. The price is $15.00. Mail orders will be filled after the banquet. Used the form below. PLEASE add $ 5.00 for shipping.

The Memorabilia dedication was moving. Dr. Edward Amaral and Dr. Francis Dufault attended. Whenever you are at the Hahnemann Campus stop in to see it. It is located on the first floor in the Surgical waiting room.
Anyone who would like to recycle the WHHSON History Book (maroon cover) please send them to me. Many of the younger grads would like to obtain copies and we have no plans to reprint soon.
Letters Dear Linda May 26, 2005 I want to thank the Alumni for the scholarship that was awarded to my granddaughter, Stefanie Andriski, in her sophomore year at Umass Amherst. She graduated this past weekend with a B.S in Nursing. She has been accepted at Brighan and Women's Hospital in Boston for extended training in O.R Nursing for10 months, at that time she will receive a certificate as a registered Sugery Nurse. I think it is most gratifying to know that the scholarship recipients have done well and we will always be grateful for those who have helped them achieve their goals. Sincerely, Sally D.
